Mandatory swimming caps for the pool came as a surprise, with no advance notice—had to buy one upon arrival. The bathroom looked uninviting, reminiscent of a hospital setting, and a lack of towels meant renting pool towels, which isn't standard for a hotel at this rating. The Medieval restaurant theme fell flat, with little to suggest authenticity, and the buffet's limited options didn’t impress me. In my room, a persistent odor of mold and humidity needed addressing, along with strange stains on the walls. I was rudely awakened by early morning poolside maintenance. that disrupted my rest. No water pressure for the shower was the cherry on top of the disappointing cake.
